Hear It From Me
I started my journey towards holistically healing in 2015. In July 2015 I had undergone major liver surgery to remove 10 hepatic adenomas. Up until that point, I didn't give much thought to the health conditions I already had and how my lifestyle might be contributing to them. I am not referring to "eating healthy", although that does play a part, I am referring to not taking care of myself, and not loving myself.
I went down the research rabbit hole to try to find a cause to why I had these adenomas without much success. At the time, I was unhappy with my life. I was in a toxic marriage and despite this, I still proceeded with going through IVF against doctors recommendations and knowing I was planning on separating with my wife. I remember my best friend at the time talking to me for hours on the phone advising against this, but I was hard headed and didn't listen.
It wasn't until I asked myself the hard question of "why?" that I started to discover the answers. I hit rock bottom before I started to climb my way back out. Even then, I had a long way to go before I could even get to the point of where I am at today.
I started this website and blog to share my story hoping it will help others find their way. In my self-discovery I discovered that I enjoy writing, I enjoy coaching and helping others discover themselves, and I found a deep rooted passion to create a non-profit to specifically help others holistically heal through self-love.
